The Children’s International Art Exchange is an exchange of artwork between schools from the many places where cranes live. To protect the wetland and grassland habitats on which cranes depend, people must work together, often across political boundaries. This exchange helps promote understanding among students of different cultures, and shares the beauty of cranes and the value of healthy ecosystems needed to sustain people and cranes.
